… We must then, henceforth and forever, pledge our very existence to atone for the sins of Nai'ithar. To make peace with the planet and ask for the forgiveness of many millions of souls, wiped out of the face of earth, due to the greed and warmongery of our fell brothers.

Ny'derien Kethral

The story of the planetarii is one of sacrifice and redemption, as they are the closest found in the planet to the Nai'ithar of old. The planetarii live by the high code of respect and honor that ruled the first Nai'ithar. 250 thousand years after the rise of the Nai'ithar in Ki'Afisal, the planetarii, under the Earth Nai'ithar Ny'derien Kethral returned to their ancestral home. Deserters they were called, traitors, betrayers, dissidents. Kethral, however, understood far too well that the actions of Nai'ithar had gone too far. The Planetarii established in the Peak of Ki'Afisal, and returned to the peaceful way of life that they had been used to for almost 150 thousand years. There they dwelt peacefully, watching the world collapse around their sacred grove, tempted to intervene, their doctrines prevented them from saving their fallen brethren who had brought this tragedy upon themselves. As Ovidius's Army marched against Yath'al during the War of Ly'mahs, the planetarii felt that finally, the corruption set free by the Nai'ithar was about to end, however they were wrong, for Thadre's betrayal had not been foreseen by the wise descendants of Ny'derien Kethral. Soon the Kethral's found themselves faced with the most powerful incarnation of corruption A'shekaz Thadre advanced against Ki'Afisal in his effort to extend his dominion over the primal forces of the elements, which had spawned the nai'ishar of old. A young prince of the Terra Tower, however, prepared a stand against Thadre, prince Von'yth Kethral traveled to the interior of Ki'Afisal summit, where he found the rift that so long ago had brought the first Nai'ithar from the elemental plains beyond the world. And there he held council with those Nai'ithar that had never set foot on the material plane and were untarnished, pure, and powerful. Von'yth staged a false defense of the summit and allowed Thadre to proceed into the depths of Ki'Afisal, where he was ambushed from both material and ethereal planes, and trapped by the same power he so much yearned. From that day to this, the role of the planetarii has remained the same, wardens, and guardians of the ancient darkness that is Thadre.

But they failed...

Planetarii Culture:
Planetarii are a high and noble culture. They have roamed the earth longer than all the other sons of Nai'ithar together. They are very fond of nature, art and individualism. They consider the creations of the Dah'kin as anti-natural and will not tolerate Necromancers, Liches, Vampires and Nosferats. Another very important fact is that 99.9% of planetarii arrange to die after 1000 years or so, since they grow weary of the world after such a long time, and when they die this way, they can return home to their ancestral home in the planes.

2005-04-08 [Veltzeh]: Yay! Pictures =D

2006-01-05 [Lepellier]: hmmmm....stupid question, but what would hapen about a crossbreed between let's say an Eolan and a Terran? or is that not possible?

2006-01-05 [Duredhel]: The child would go with either element

2006-01-05 [Lepellier]: Ok, so they couldn't split the element, as I thought, since it would be opposing elements.

2006-01-05 [Mr.Scoop]: And uh, the igean planetarii, wouldn't the picture have a darker colored skin?

2006-01-06 [Duredhel]: It was darker (some people tend to think they're red, but they're actually very tanned) but back then I didn't know how to use my photoshop properly.

2006-01-06 [Lepellier]: riddle me this, is there an actual reason behind Igean and Eolan's looking more human-like?

2006-01-06 [Duredhel]: The terran looks human-like, and the hydran wasn't drawn by me. In any case if you've read the religion section you should see a connection between terrans and igneans

2006-01-06 [Lepellier]: well, I mean that you can see Igeans and Eolan's mixing into human culture a whole lot easier than the other 2...

2006-01-06 [Duredhel]: Uhm... humans don't really have white hair... or horns... or wings..

2006-01-06 [Lepellier]: well, the wings and horns can be hid, and in earlier times, whiter skin was seen as royalty, but anyway, I only saw connections between Igna and Eola and Terra and Hydra....

2006-01-06 [Duredhel]: Well that's in earlier times in Europe, and the only reason pale skin was seen as a sign of prestige was because it meant the person did not spend time out in the fields.

2006-01-06 [Lepellier]: yeah, i know, I'm a bit of a medival buff... ^_^, but yeah, idk, I just give up, there is no point behind it.

2006-07-24 [Veltzeh]: By the way, how much is the "more damage" that planetarii take from the opposed element?

2006-07-24 [Lepellier]: I think I remember it was 25% or something....

2006-07-24 [Veltzeh]: Yeah, was, but is it the same still?

2006-11-07 [Grengo]: If I were to use the new Ignean attributes (+1 Str and Mag, -2 Int) for Rei, his Intelligence would end up at 3... that pretty much means he'll be dumber than a pile of rocks, right? How would it affect his rping skills? <.<

2006-11-07 [Veltzeh]: My guess is not that much. XD

2006-11-07 [Duredhel]: I'd say he's already been playing with an INT of 3 honestly :/

2006-11-07 [Silverbullet]: XD
Dur burn!

2006-11-07 [Grengo]: If it won't make a difference, so much the better :D

2007-06-12 [Lepellier]: If Igeans get to see in the dark, maybe the other classes should get a little bonus? Like, The Eolans can hover, and maybe Hydrans can breathe underwater or something...idk about the terrans though...Natural armor +1?

2007-06-13 [Veltzeh]: I thought they could do that...

2007-06-13 [Silverbullet]: I think I read somewhere that the Eolans could fly.. but I don't remember any mention of the Terran or Hydran special skills anywhere

2007-06-13 [Veltzeh]: Eolans can hover (not fly, though).

2007-06-13 [Silverbullet]: I meant hover ^^"

But why isn't it written in the race page, hmmz? Dur forgot?

2007-06-13 [Veltzeh]: Meh, I'll just add it.

2007-06-27 [Lepellier]: hmmm...now what about Terrans?

2007-06-27 [Veltzeh]: Who knows? Can grow small plants?

2007-07-05 [Grengo]: Maybe give all Terrans that Defensive Stance skill or something.

2008-06-02 [Sturmi]: so... what about terrans? they never got anything special?

2008-06-03 [Veltzeh]: Apparently not. I still stand behind my suggestion, though. X)

2008-06-03 [Grengo]: Instead of growing plants, why not have them talk to them? Let it require some intelligence check, and they'll be able to find out info from the nearby flora regarding stuff.

2008-06-03 [Veltzeh]: That's good too.

2008-06-03 [Sturmi]: yeah I think talk to plants should be it.

2008-06-03 [Silverbullet]: Talking to plants would be pretty good!
